Refund your contribution in cases of failed, cancelled or live presales

Refunds for your contribution are available in the event of:
A cancelled presale
A failed presale
A live presale that is not in the last 15 minutes. Please note: this incurs a 10% charge on your investment to dissuade artificial inflation of amount raised.
In the event of a cancelled presale or if the presale does not reach the soft cap by the allotted time then you are eligible to claim back your investment without fees. Below is a how-to:
Step 1: Go to the presale where you have previously contributed. If you haven't been on it for a while, you can find this via the Dashboard or the My Contributions view.
Step 2: Check to see if the project is cancelled or failed by the tags:
Step 3: Click on the Refund contribution button where you should receive a prompt from MetaMask or you other provider. After confirming, the amount you contributed will be transferred to your wallet.
On smaller screens and mobile devices, you may have to scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the Refund contribution button
You have successfully refunded your contribution!
When refunding from a live presale it is known as an emergency withdraw. There are a couple of things worth noting about emergency withdrawing:
You can not use these feature in the last 15 minutes of a presale to prevent artificial inflating of the amount raised
You are charged 10% of your investment, again to prevent malicious users inflating the amount of their presale
Below is a how-to:
Step 1: Go to the presale where you have previously contributed. If you haven't been on it for a while, you can find this via the Dashboard or the My Contributions view.
Step 2: Check to see if the project is live by the tags:
Step 3: Click on the Emergency withdraw button where you should receive a prompt from MetaMask or you other provider. After confirming, the amount you contributed will be transferred to your wallet.
As should be expected, the emergency withdraw button will only be active on a live presale that you have contributed in. It should go without saying that you can't withdraw from a presale you haven't contributed to!
On smaller screens and mobile devices, you may have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the emergency withdraw button
You have successfully refunded your contribution!
